30-Day Accelerated Advanced Emergency Medical Technician (AEMT)

Program Overview

Our 30-Day Accelerated AEMT program is a comprehensive, fast-paced course designed to prepare students for the National Registry with full coverage of both EMT-Basic and advanced-level AEMT curriculum. It’s perfect for those who want more in-depth training than the AEMT Bridge Course provides but don’t have the time for a traditional, multi-month program. This intensive option is ideal for students who are motivated and ready to dedicate themselves to a rigorous, immersive learning experience.

Robust Online Learning Platform

The accelerated program features a blend of asynchronous online lectures and interactive modules. All course materials are preloaded into the course management system, allowing you to access video lectures, quizzes, and resources at your convenience. This flexibility ensures that you can progress through the material on your own schedule while still meeting the accelerated pace.

Comprehensive Curriculum

This program covers a broader scope of material compared to the Bridge Course, including both EMT-Basic and advanced AEMT topics:

  • Comprehensive Anatomy and Physiology
  • EMT-Basic Refresher Content (Patient Assessment, Airway Management, and Trauma Care)
  • Advanced Pharmacology and Medication Administration
  • IV Therapy and Fluid Resuscitation
  • Shock Management and Hemorrhage Control
  • Advanced Medical and Trauma Emergencies

By combining a solid review of EMT-Basic essentials with advanced-level education, this course ensures you are well-prepared for both the practical and cognitive demands of the AEMT role.

In-Person Skill Labs and Clinical Rotations

Hands-on practice is a core component of our accelerated program. You’ll attend intensive in-person skills labs, where you’ll apply your knowledge in realistic, high-pressure scenarios. Additionally, you’ll complete clinical rotations with local EMS agencies, providing you with critical field experience to hone your skills and build confidence before certification.

Streamlined Path to Certification

With recent updates to the certification process, there is no longer a separate psychomotor exam at the AEMT level. Instead, our program emphasizes real-world skills practice and clinical experience, ensuring you are fully prepared for the NREMT written exam and capable of handling advanced prehospital care scenarios.

AHA STUDENT MANUAL AND TEXTBOOK POLICY

Each student must have the current, appropriate course textbook of their own readily available for use before, during, and after the course.

Textbooks are designed for individual use and are an integral part of the student’s education. Students may reuse their textbooks during renewals or updates UNTIL NEW SCIENCE GUIDELINES ARE PUBLISHED. (i.e. 2020 AHA Update)

The American Heart Association (AHA) designs their resuscitation courses using the most current educational design concepts. In order to maximize the students’ learning potential and keep course length manageable, the AHA have designed the classroom courses with the intent that students will have the opportunity to study the course materials outside of the class itself. It is necessary that students have access to student manuals before, during, and after each course, especially if the students are less familiar with the skills.

ARES BOOK POLICY

NO BOOKS may be returned or refunded for any reason. Books may not be issued during the course and then returned for a refund; this includes if it has been unopened. Books may also not be shared during the course; this is against American Heart Association rules and guidelines. Per AHA Rules, each student must have their own current book in order to attend an AHA course.
